The online Master's in Counseling degree program at Divine Mercy University prepares students for a role as a licensed professional counselor who works to promote health and emotional/relational well-being with a diverse population, as well as diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychological issues.

State of the art technology is used for asynchronous learning with significant use of video content featuring various clinical and professional skills to be reviewed by peers and faculty, as well as synchronous learning where students have virtual face-to-face interactions in their learning process.

Upon completion, graduates share their new skill set in a variety of exciting settings. Master level professional counselors are employed by clinical mental health agencies, counseling centers, private practices, church/mission settings, hospitals, in-patient facilities, school support services, military facilities, and in overseas settings.
